These ones I love

Tale of Sir Noble Knight

Sir noble knight upon his steed
Rides forth to rescue maiden fair.
It is for him a lover's deed-
Sir noble knight upon his steed.
Her mournful cries his heart doth heed,
For trapped she is in dragon's lair.
Sir noble knight upon his steed
Rides forth to rescue maiden fair.

The dragon guards the lady well
With flaming breath and searing eyes.
For bound he is by evil spell-
The dragon guards the lady well.
Her mournful cries he tries to quell,
As they reach up to heaven's skies.
The dragon guards the lady well
With flaming breath and searing eyes.

Sir Knight spurred on by love's first kiss
Rides forth to meet the beastly foe.
His lady's pleas he can't resist-
Sir Knight spurred on by love's first kiss.
Her face he sees within the mist-
With heavy heart, he feels her woe.
Sir Knight spurred on by love's first kiss
Rides forth to meet the beastly foe.

The dragon stalks within his lair
As danger rides upon the wind.
Afraid of losing maiden fair-
The dragon stalks within his lair.
The smell of death is in the air
For on this night a life will end.
The dragon stalks within his lair
As danger rides upon the wind.

Sir Knight dismounts from his brave steed
As he approaches dragon's lair.
Not wishing beast his steps to heed-
Sir Knight dismounts from his brave steed.
For stealth and silence he has need
If save he will his lady fair.
Sir Knight dismounts from his brave steed
As he approaches dragon's lair.

The dragon sounds his mighty roar
As scent of man wafts on the wind.
While thunder shouts his beastly lore
The dragon sounds his mighty roar.
He stomps the ground and he steps forth
To guard the entrance of his den.
The dragon sounds his mighty roar
As scent of man wafts on the wind.

Sir Knight and beast-each stands his ground
As they face off at dragon's lair.
The fight begins-a ghastly sound-
Sir Knight and beast-each stands his ground.
Such courage nowhere else is found
Then fighting for his lady fair.
Sir Knight and beast-each stands his ground
As they face off at dragon's lair.

Fierce battle rages through the night
For noble knight and his dread foe.
While man and beast; each shows his might-
Fierce battle rages through the night.
Fair maiden cringes at the sight
As weariness begins to show-
Fierce battle rages through the night
For noble knight and his dread foe.

Sir Knight this beast at last did slay
To win the hand of lady fair.
The dragon at their feet doth lay-
Sir Knight this beast at last did slay.
No more will evil have its way-
His menace scattered to the air.
Sir Knight this beast at last did slay
To win the hand of lady fair.
