I do not understand why people are homeless.
I do not understand why people abandon their children
I do not understand why the world is so greedy
I do not understand why the world is not at peace
I do not understand why the world likes being at war
I do not understand most of all
Why people were created if they do not respect themselves or others
I do understand
That it only takes one second to be truthful
It only takes a little maturity to uphold a job and learn responsibility
It only takes an instant of understanding to know that children are priceless
It only takes a little selflessness to give
It only takes one hand to shake hate from ones enemy's heart
It only takes a little sensitivity to care about those we kill and hurt
And most of all
It only takes a little love to respect everyone, including yourselves
