False ScribesMark 12:35-40 How can the scribes say Christ is the seed, Of David for the Holy Spirit to intercede; In making Jesus of Nazareth as the Son, And then for becoming as the chosen One. God said onto my Lord to sit at His right, Until His enemies have seen their plight; For their judgment that they will meet, To be nestled firmly from under His feet. But David himself has called Him Lord, As written throughout His Holy Word; So then just how is Jesus to be His Son, And to be considered as the chosen One. Beware of the scribes in the long gowns, They come greet you with their frowns; The ones in church with the best seats, And to have places of honor at all feasts. They devour up widows and their home, And making them wealthy as they roam; As a pretense with making long prayer, Surely a harsh judgment they will share.
