 DESIRE

Watching the moon light up the sky at night,
Reminds me of you and our dream.
In the dark, I only see with your light,
Without you, I'm a shadow that can't be seen.

Your fire still feeds my desire,
I bleed helplessly from the wounds of your love,
You belong to a man who prolongs all that you can be,
I wish I had waited for you here longer.

Now that we are apart, I'm lost in this place,
Misplaced in a prison without a cell,
How we fell from the start, I can not retrace,
Without you, I'm living in my own hell.
