 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

The gulls cackle and cry
in the early morning light,
while the sea shimmers
far into the distance
like a sequined dress

Green foamed waves break
upon the shifting shore
with a proud roar, and the sand
retreats beneath the
strong tidal pull

Grasses wave gently
to the salty breeze,
responding to the warming
whisper of hello
from the Atlantic
