Goodbye My "I" by Sonja
A friend of mine, let's call her "I"
Once laid down and proceeded to die.
Too weak to rise, no strength of her own.
All peace, all solace, no need for a home.
She will be missed, these tears say to me.
She tried to be fair, while working to be free.
"Freedom, she said, is not of this earth
A fact you've known since the moment of birth
And forgotten."
