Life giving light

Your eyes are now empty,
The fire has grown cold…
The sparkle that once gave life…
Now weeps for your soul.
It shares your dark corners,
Where light once laughed with joy…
Now only the shadows…
Sees all that’s destroyed.
Where are you my Angel?
Where do you now sleep?
Where is the true love…?
Life promised to keep.
Where is the passion… that warmed your cold nights?
Where is the sparkle…
Of life giving light?
