When the days are hard…When the days are hard, and the nights are tough, And life in general is too damned rough! You want to sleep, and dream a dream… But the fear in you heart, makes you scream! You face each day in dread and fear! And know that the day is getting near! That you will take stock of all you believe, For the life of hate that made you grieve! No-one to fight in your corner, you stood alone! Rooted to the spot, but you want to run on home! Mouth is dry to the touch; you're sweating in panic, The day draws near, and you're feeling manic! But you calm yourself, ease your fear, Because now you know, that things are clear! You woke up one day, got wise in the head! Knowing that no more will you awake in dread! For you dug deep, deep down inside! Found your strength, no more will you hide! More; you will face each day; each trial! And face life head on, but always in smile!!! As only you can do!
