Preparing of the SonProverbs 19:18-23 Train your son while there is still hope, Let not your heart be aiming at his death; Keep your patience learning how to cope, Guide him through every waking breath. A man of great wrath will have to accept, Responsibility and take his punishment; If he is unchanged and his temper is kept, Later on he can expect more admonishment. Let his ears open up onto your suggestion, So the end result that he will be more wise; Increasing patience will ease the tension, To rationalize thinking of where and whys. The heart of a man has more than one plan, That changes so often when each one fails; But the Lord has a purpose knowing it can, Never change as His plan always prevails. Mercy is the goal for a man in his heart, While having fear of the Lord gives life; Sharing love with others for to impart, Helping to rid yourself of toils and strife.
