The Next Poem;Ok, The next poem is long, 'very' long! It is NOT one of self pity! Self pity is not in my vocabulary! A woman who bought my book said to me recently; 'Reading your book is like reading the diary of your life!' And in a way, I guess it is. She continued; 'I walk many a walk here! Your words have given me strength; Strength to know who and what I am! What I can and can-not do! But more, it has given me; Faith; Belief, and Hope; in myself!' ------------------------ And I guess that's what it's all about for me. Those words tell me my work is well worth all the time; Effort, and dedication I put into it! So then, next poem, do you read it and be bored? Or skip it and move on? Your choice.
