M's Poetry
Question
She walks alone
until the morning sickness is gone
trailing to her better days
she dreams, she dreams
of the moment she could take back
if only she wasn't so independent
if only she wasn't so stubborn
Some day somebody's gonna ask you
a question that you should say yes to
once in your life
maybe tonight....you never know when it will come
so hope on it heavy
than when that question comes
you will say the right answer
He doesn't know what he has left
the airport in a sea of people
all the gray skies are lifting
and as he stares through the window
he waves goodbye silently
to all he's ever known
she takes to the sky
and later is the news report on the evening news

baby tonight I've got a question for you
so hope on it heavy
than when that question comes
you will say the right answer
