"growth spurt"

if I found a remote cave to retreat
a secluded rock to climb under
an inconspicuous box to hide
I would still be as visible as a shiny copper coin
where pennies aren’t even counted towards absolute wealth
but it is there
you will find me
attempting to take shape in dark meaningful places, below
underneath, I appear as something strange
something unknown
something small
something black
and wondering
but it is there
you will find me
rising
like light
brilliantly glowing
understanding
learning
becoming
changing
evolving
leaving all notions behind
to then not know
what I was taught to know
not knowing any type of
shape, color or form
worth or confinement
or anything at all really
except
you will
notice me
more
aware
