YOU WANT

There's times you want a wife
Remember that when I'm not in your life
Think of it when I went down
Now that I am not around

Dream of it when you're asleep
How I can take you all to the deep
Of my inner sacred soul
Where you float, fly, and roll

Into another space and time
Precious in reason and rhyme
Holy and divinely heaven for us
Then you want to go home to her and lose trust

You want a wife to serve you meals
Then you go when she's crying and feels
Desperation because she's brought you so close
To the gratitude she feels for you the most

Where you don't see her grace
You escape the pain on her face
Because you want a wife when the time's just right
Then you go to sleep away from her night after night.
