How do you stop a lonely tear?

In the morning twilight hour,
How do you fight loneness' power,
When the moonlight has started to disappear
How do you stop a lonely tear,
When the morning light starts to appear,
and there is no one here,
How do you stop a lonely tear?
In the twilight hour,
When loneness seems to tower,
Like a mountain you can't get over,
When there are no stars to discover,
When there is no lover,
And loneness has no cover,
When there are no sweet words of love,
whispered in the ear,
How do you stop a lonely tear?
When your eyes are open,
When love dies and you stop hoping,
When you are lost in your fears, and you are only coping,
When the new day grows near,
How do you stop a lonely tear?
When love stops existing,
And in your heart there is something missing,
Love's call was once there and you didn't listen,
Your eyes now glisten.
When the night starts to disappear,
How do you stop a lonely tear?
