Wally, The Worry Wart

Wally was a worry wart, he worried day and night.

He worried so much he started to look like such a fright.

He worried that he was too short, he worried he was small,

He worried that his muscles weren't very big at all.

He worried when he went to school, he worried coming back,

He worried when he first got up and when he hit the sack,

He wallowed in his worry, and his worry made him sad,

Wally's Mommy wondered~~~ what made him feel so bad.

Then one day Wally went to Sunday School; he wanted just to see

If they could stop the worry that was worrying him constantly.

They taught him about a Wonderful Savior, wise and tall and brave,

Named Jesus, who came to rescue and to love and to save.

So Wally said a simple Prayer, it was “Please enter in”.

Jesus moved right into his worried heart and healing did begin.

Wally doesn't worry any more, his soul has been set free.

How do I know about Wally? Well, he is, quite simply, me!
