…Open The Can Of Worms…Open the can of worms and let them go, Release it to find happiness and peace, Get rid of the hate and anger, Let go, free it, and let it release…! Release all the pain, anger and hurt, And move on to a newer plane… And once you have done that, You will feel start to feel whole again! Her can of worms was large, And full of hate inside, But she opened it and let it go, And she did so with much pride. For a very long time she's hurt, And cried an ocean of tears, Hated with a vengeance so harmful, And held on to it for too many years! But it's self harming, and festers and grows, And oh, so very wrong, It didn't do her any good… To hate with a passion so strong! Her can of worms was harmful, It ate her away, festered and grew, And for many years she had denied, That she knew what she had to do! She had to find peace within herself, For her to open her heart wide, For to forgive, we have to accept- That with hatred comes' loss of pride! They say pride goes before a fall, And she never really knew what that meant, But for the first time in her life...! Forgiveness for her was Heaven sent. You see, sometimes in life it's so very hard, To forgive, to lose hate and move on, But this year that's exactly what she did, And finally, yes, she's won! You may not believe it, but you can beat it! Sometimes it's hard to let it go! And though it took her long enough! She now knows it's so!!! And anyway, I hate to be wrong!
