…The Battle Within…Overpowering thoughts, thoughts so deep… With demons lurking! Were depressions will seep! The angels are there, fighting together, Each trying to take control, of my mind forever! Paranoia of the mind, the fight for evil and good! Overpowering my mind, as only they could! Manic depression…A horrible affliction! Forever a battle…In my mind is friction! Thoughts so dark, as dark as night, As every day in my mind, is a terrible fight! Dark angel comes hither, to take over my mind, Evil thoughts lurking, no peace can I find! Voices inside my head, overtaking my mind, Telling me good things, and things so unkind! Everyone is after me, after my blood, I need to control this, as only I could! The battle of the mind is a terrible fight! One minute sunshine, then the dark of night! I need to block it; I need to rid this fright! And good take evil, as I fight the good fight! Angel of mercy beckons and removes the darkness within, And for every time evil is there, I always fight to win! The light is there at the end of the tunnel for me! And each time there's a battle, I'll win it, you'll see! And though this isn't about me, I did tread the path!!! Cos my doctor always begged of me; ‘Catherine, no matter what happens to you! Don't have an illness of the mind! Don't go down that path whatever you do! I can't help you in that state of mind, So always stay strong in the heart and head! Because you fight the fight, and fight it hard! And it's a miracle you're not dead!' But one time after the brain tumor thingys; My head was all over the place! I didn't like that path at all!
