Catch A Butterfly
~THE SIG BOX~
Catch a Butterfly
No matter how hard I try
I just can't catch a butterfly.
I reach beyond my hopes and dreams
And then they flit away, it seems
The Butterfly understands the reaching up
Of my flailing hands, and must escape
Or be caught forever in a warm embrace
That, for a butterfly, would be a disgrace.
For Butterfly's are wild and free,
And certain death would surely be
Better than a captured soul,
Yes, death would take its awful toll.
No matter how hard I try
I just can't catch a butterfly.
Just let me rest; in mild repose,
A butterfly just landed~~~on my nose!!!
