We are living in unpredictable times
One day the earth quakes in the far east
many precious lives are lost
Next day there are severe hurricanes on the US coast
Many lives and property are lost
Then come the torrent rains -- then the baking drought
We hear of war and rumors of war
Marchers protest against the war - wake up people
Get your act together
Look around yourself - we must defend our self
or we will all be going to mosques instead of churches
There are grumblings against the government for everything
The air is to dirty - not enough free housing
not enough free money for the ones that don't work
not enough of this or that
muttering - murmuring - grunting - rumbling
We blame everything and everybody except ourselves
It must make God very sad for us to be so unappreciative
of His blessing to us
I wonder if the unpredictable time we are experiencing now are
a result of God displeasure with us.
It is time for us to grow up and be what He created us to be
God is real and a personal God to us His children
He will hold us accountable for what we do and don't do for Him
If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.
