 Penniluck's legacy

Our Own Two Eyes

In them there lies happiness
And sometimes there is sorrow.
There`s hatred and there`s friendship
And hope for the tomorrow.
In them there lies wonder
And sometimes there is truth.
There`s gladness and there`s sadness
And sometimes there`s reproof.
In them there lies doubt
And sometimes there is trust
Contentment and resentment
And sometimes there is lust.
In them there lies gratefullness
And sometimes there is right.
There`s mischief and there`s goodness
And sometimes there is light.
In them lies the greatest love
And sometimes just a caring.
There`s laughter and there`s tears
And sometimes there is daring.
In them there lies honesty
And sometimes even lies.
The answer to all questions
Is in our own two eyes.
The clue to what we really are
Be we yellow, black or white.
Is there for all the world to see
All those - who still have sight.
