Degree's In?Now I love words, I really do, Love to see them transpire on the page! And yep, I have to say it… It seems some of mine are all the rage! Degree's…let me see what I have? Well, I have none, no degrees at all! All I really have about me; Are my certificates on the wall! But they are only certificates, Not degree's, not at all…oh no, For the only degree's that I posses, Are hidden, and not on show… I don't profess to be anything special, And you will never hear a lie from me, For I am all that I am - and more; What you get is all that you see! I'll never pretend to be something I'm not, For all I am, and all you'll ever see; Is this simple minded lass here, Typically, just little old me! Nope, I never went to University, All I ever did was a GCSE… On what subject you ask yourself? Well, words! What else would it be! I write as I speak; no more, no less, There is no false about me! For all I am, is all I am… And I am all that I want to be! So nope, I don't have an official document, Only the life I live and the path I tread, And to me, that's more than a degree! It's the experience on the life we've led? We don't need a certificate to tell us- That we have a degree for us on show, For we all have a degree, a degree on life! For a degree is in everything thing that we know! So basically what I am saying is; We are what we are, and what's on show; Is a degree in life and its trials and more… And basically, that's in everything we know!
