The sea of my thoughts are perilously tossed about on the tempest of sharp emotion,
there are no magical words to calm the storm that rages within my frightened heart,
no strong defenses against the thunder that rolls,
nor the lightning that flashes through my mortified soul,
I can find no solace nor relief from the pain of Charlotte's memory,
no recompense for her loss 'cept sadness and discord,
all joy was ripped violently from my life at her passing,
leaving me to mourn the painful loss of her sweet love.
