M's Poetry
Head Games
In the day and into the night
we see some paradise
in what we are
is confused as we wrap each other
in the other's arms
I could go home with you
pretend it will last
but I know your mind
like you know mine
and if I stay
I would only drive you mad
I'm not that stable, a little crazy
I find myself at odds wanting to be here
so it's better if I never arrive
see love and peace
is always at ill with naked greed
bodies always hungering
to satisfy these desires
and if I stay it's just all for the wrong reasons
cuz you know my mind
and I read yours
and if I stay
I would only drive you mad
I'm not that stable, a little crazy
I find myself at odds wanting to be here
so it's better if I never arrive
