Spiritually Elite

I Peter 5:5-11

Let the elders rule over younger men,
And let all of you swallow your pride;
Be prepared to become servants when,
God comes to dwell with you inside.

He hates pride but grants you grace,
When you are willing to be humble;
His strong hand will give an embrace,
As He is guiding you not to stumble.

So be alert and vigilant for the devil,
Lurking about as he searches for prey;
Be strong in faith to shield against evil,
Averting possibility of letting you stray.

Remember your problem is not unique,
Then, after going through some pain;
The God of all grace will come speak,
With eternal glory in Christ to sustain.

Christ will give support and strength,
Making you feel spiritually complete;
As His power stretches to any length,
For keeping you in the spiritually elite.
