Let your face
Be the first thing I see
As I lay here quietly,
Listening to you breathe.
Allow me the pleasure
If you will to trace,
Each perfect curve
Of your beautiful face-
May you wake now
And find my smile,
Then meet my lips
And linger awhile…
Sweet whispered words
In the pale morning light,
For a wonderful tempo
To set your day off right-
Please let me wake
And always find you there,
For indeed you are
