TO DANCE
Sensual and lithe
he greets the floor
poised to live
the dance.
Heart and body
in shared passion
wait, desirous
of rhythm's embrace.
Swept into his arms
they merge into
one being, all
fluidity and grace.
So seductive and sweet
the music's caress
coaxes and elicits
their movements.
Carried away
on symphonic heights
he helps her to
fly without wings.
