The Living Stone of LightI Peter 2:4-9 As to whom He came as a living stone, Not honored by men being on His own; But of a great and special value to God, In walking on earth amongst the flawed. He is a living stone and building a house, Returning soon for claiming His spouse; A Holy Order of priest through the Spirit, In being pleasing to God who is infinite. He is to be a keystone as it is inscribed, The same as the plan of God described; Whoever has the faith will have no shame, For God will have written down His name. Your faith will show true value and worth, Through your thoughts and deeds on earth; If uncommitted to Christ you are only talk, With a weak faith that is as a porous rock. But you are chosen by God as royal priests, With higher virtues than nocturnal beasts; For your power is not derived of the night, Rather from Heaven and the living light.
