Angel in waiting

It's funny how we know

It's funny how we can feel things
very deep inside our hearts,
How we know the one that we love has
suddenly strayed into anothers arms
and from our loves they pull away.

A sacred piece of us they take and
it's place is a endless ache'
there is this terrible loneliness that
begins deep down inside of you and
there is nothing you can do but sit and cry.

There is an ache that pierces your heart
because you know deep inside of you
that they have done something so horrible
that no amount of lives can ever hide it.

They took your hopes and dreams and
crushed them beneath their feet,
they destroyed something inside of you
and now it can't be replaced.
