A Righteous TreePsalm 1 Bless be the one who walks not in sin, And does not walk with those that do; The one who has a spiritual discipline, The one that is having a Heavenly view. His delight is in the law of the Lord, Thinking about it both day and night; He devotes his free time to the Word, Loving the Lord with all of his might. Just as a tree planted by the water flow, Very fruitful and leaves forever green; Sturdy branches that spiritually grow, With a fruit that is righteously clean. Evil-doers are as trees planted in sand, That winds of judgment erode away; Blown enough the tree can not stand, As it is uprooted and starts to decay. The Lord nourishes the righteous roots, To flourish and bloom in its splendor; While a sinful tree produces rotten fruits, As it whither and dies in its endeavor.
