 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

IF EVER

If ever you would hold me
And keep me safe from harm
I'd lose myself in your embrace
Your love would keep me warm

If ever I might hold you
Enfold you in my arms
I'd gladly soothe away your cares
And share with you my charms

If ever you'd desire me
The way you did before
I know you'd tremble, breaking
Just like waves upon a shore

If ever I'd desire you
With everything and more
From heart and soul I'd show you
How you move me to my core

If ever you could love me
The way I want you to
I know your love would fill me
With a joy I never knew

If ever I could love you
The way I wanted to
You'd never know a lonely day
The whole of your life through
