another dimension
wasted and confused I wondered about life
but I never thought you dreamed of leaving

turning up bottles until they become
empty vessels
has solved not one problem for me

if only you could have seen it in my eyes
another world would have appeared
we sew and reap and sew again
but evidently
no such thing as learning takes place
only the programmable are growing stronger
and the visionaries being subdued
traveling lands once named for their fathers
we now stumble to that place to make a dollar
unaware of anything but our own sizeable paychecks
