If I Fall
It seems so far to go
It took so long to get here
now I'm saying things that surprise me
and I'm afraid again
broke my shell now I feel naked
I thought I had it in me
I used to be so sure
there I was stronger than ever
and no more would I let my hurt
rule my heart
and if I fall
I will find a way back to my hands
I'm the only one who can help me find my feet again
I am a fighter
deep scars, burning fire in this heart
but I will walk again
It seems so easy now
Everything I dreamed about when I was a child
it looks like good things are here
so I will stay as long as I can
get used to smiling, get used to celebrating
all that I have
if fingers should snap and I lose it all
well
If I fall
I will find a way back to my hands
I'm the only one who can help me find my feet again
I am a fighter
deep scars, burning fire in this heart
but I will walk again
don't come in doomed
listen closely to your prayer
there is a place, there is love
for you somewhere
and if you fall always believe
you can get up again....
