I sit back;
When all looks black.
Into the sky;
For the bit of sliver,white;
That shines so bright;
It can cut through the night;
Of all my blackest days.
It pierces the sky.
It's reflected in my eyes.
It brans my soul;
It burns in my heart.
It's what keeps me whole.
When the dark of the night.
Comes calling on me;
In search of another soul.
As it slip's around me;
It's non-existent arms surround me.
I will not cry-out tonight.
I wont let fear inside;
To take away all I am.
So I look to the sky;
For that silver,white light;
It's part of my soul.
It's all I've left of me.
