"The Innocence Of Children"
I have come full circle
And have entered life without fear
Just needed to say thank you
For the precious moments I hold dear.
On her sixteenth birthday
There was no need for words
The purity in her eyes said everything
"I love you Dad" is all that I heard.
The little guy has written a song
He acts it out with glee
He looks up for an encouraging glance
The smile in my eyes was only for him to see.
In so many ways, life just blows
But, with a glimmer of light
And a fresh bowl of cherries
Just being in it -- is pure delight.
