Poetry For Everyday People
Moments
At my best
I watch sun sets,
I walk with my love
uncaught,
I play guitar,
I dig the earth
plant
bring life to a flower,
I help some one in need,
I catch a smile,
give thumbs up,
I see a rainbow
and I squeeze her hand,
we walk, walk,
moments
eyes catching glimpses
alleys
neon flashes
smoke of a thousand dreams
feathers of the falling
moments
in progress
I catch what I can
without interrupting fate
street lights
candle in a window
church bell
cop on a horse
hooker rubbing her feet
lady selling red roses
hot dog vendor
open
Lady's night
live music
ambulance racing
moments
we walk
grab a coffee
city paper
wonder what
the penthouse people are doing?
hand in hand
hard to find
walking romantic alleys
in the dark
wise moments
walking
talking
hand in hand
living another night
passionately.
I watch sun sets,
I walk with my love
uncaught,
I play guitar,
I dig the earth
plant
bring life to a flower,
I help some one in need,
I catch a smile,
give thumbs up,
I see a rainbow
and I squeeze her hand,
we walk, walk,
moments
eyes catching glimpses
alleys
neon flashes
smoke of a thousand dreams
feathers of the falling
moments
in progress
I catch what I can
without interrupting fate
street lights
candle in a window
church bell
cop on a horse
hooker rubbing her feet
lady selling red roses
hot dog vendor
open
Lady's night
live music
ambulance racing
moments
we walk
grab a coffee
city paper
wonder what
the penthouse people are doing?
hand in hand
hard to find
walking romantic alleys
in the dark
wise moments
walking
talking
hand in hand
living another night
passionately.
