A Soldiers Love
My love is yours with this gold band.
Take it quick and don't delay.
Hold it gently in your hands.
Never let it slip away.
Say our love will last forever.
Keep the vows I made with you.
Let's always stay the way we are.
Tell me that our love is true.
I must leave but not for glory.
Medals ribbons, pins abound.
What I must do to keep you free,
will save the truths that we have found.
So love me like there's no tomorrow.
Share your thoughts of love so fine.
Leave me not with pain and sorrow.
Be my treasure one more time.
