I believe I must have met an angel.
She reads for those who are sick and blind.
She reaches out in spite of distance.
To share her fellows verse and rhyme.
I didn't know that England had angels.
A lady perhaps or maybe a gent,
A breath of air for those in need,
whose pauper fortunes are always spent.
An angel reached across an ocean,
never knowing what she would see.
She found a source of inspiration,
with depths untouched in poetry.
Support this angel my fellow poets.
Share your verse with no complaints.
I didn't know that England had angels,
But I'm certain now that she has saints.
