Christmas is hereOle Man winter tries to steal the show, From the warm places of sun to the North Pole, He sends the winter winds, And the cold white snow, God shed's another tear, For His greatest fear, Is that Christmas will disappear, He sent a gift for our soul, Winter is here, As God shed's another tear, I hear Him whisper in my ear, Soon Christmas will disappear, God sent a bright shining star, A light to see from afar, The silver moon shines above, And the star shines for all who love, In the cold winter night, God sent a bright shining light, Across nature's Christmas trees, Across the wars we fight, and across the seas, In the winter breeze, There's a prayer for peace, for our soul, Ole man winter tries to steal the show, He sends the winter winds, and the cold white snow. God shed's another tear, As He whispers in my ear, Soon Christmas will disappear. I hang the mistletoe, And I watch the winter snow, Ole man winter's show, I feel the gift for my soul, As I wipe away God's tear, I whisper in His ear, Christmas is here, I won't let it disappear, Thank you for the gift for my soul, Love is the greatest gift I know, The flame from the fireplace, keeps me from feeling the cold, Jesus the baby was born to pave my road. Love for the world to hold , with a sweet embrace, With eyes to look through , to see God's face. In the sweetest story every told, I have found a gift to treasure, worth more than the weight of gold. At the end of the rainbow we chase, A cross carry's our heavy load, From the manger of gift of grace, Given to me by the dove, I have the gift of love, And I find peace in my soul. I watch the winter snow. I wipe away God's tear, I whisper in His ear, Christmas is here. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
