WHAT TO DO WIH A KID LIKE THIS?

I know a kid who's out of control,
Satisfaction for himself is his only goal;
Talks back, wants things to go his way,
You try to speak, he has something to say;

Will not clean his room or do his homework,
Wants everyone to give in to his every quirk;
He knows all people have rules to live by,
Applies to him, too, but he thinks that's a lie;

Comes from a broken home which is too bad,
Big decision made to send him to his dad;
He left home and what a sigh of relief!
From him there came back sighs of grief;

Grief for the family he's left behind,
Vows every day to be good and kind;
Kids bring much joy and happiness to life,
But they can also bring us lots of strife;

Should he be welcomed back with open arms?
Melt his family with his tears and charms?
Is he truly broken and downhearted
Or still the same as before he departed?
