 Craving For Chips

For the past week, I've been craving salt
And go figure, it would be chips,
It doesn't matter what kind they are
So long as they stay off my hips.

I know for a fact, I'll pay for this tomorrow
I might have to do some sit-ups,
But right now, I don't care
So long as they're not turnips.

I ate half a big bag,
But now, I feel a little guilty,
I just wish I never had a craving for salt
But, they were so good and crunchy.

I can't seem to help myself
When it comes to salt or sweets,
I've satisfied my craving for another day
Possibly even for the next few weeks.
