Soaring Eagle
I sit and wait
for my brave to return
In Soaring Eagle's absence
my heart does yearn
As the sun begins to hang
low in the sky
It is not like my warrior
after dark to fly
The restless wind
through my hair does blow
Oh my precious soul mate
Where did it bid you go
Now as the firefly dances
the lonely wolf howls
Oh the dread falls like night,
the pain in my heart growls
For I know my Soaring Eagle
is not to return
But his love in my heart
shall forever burn
