OURS

The sea foams green as it laps the shore, the sound so simple and pure.
A golden dawn creeps over the reef, to glow with warmth once more.
The sand slips silently back into the sea, Its passage hardly noticed now.
Through rocks and stones it carries our dreams to its depths though I know not how.
When I listen to its voice its whisper reveals the feelings I hide in my rhymes.
Nothing is lost to the sound of the surf when it echoes in my mind.
The sea foams green as it laps the shore its sound so simple and true.
Like the feelings of warmth exposed once more that tell of my love for you.
