Christmas Past~~~
effect="relief"> A "Warm-N-Cozy" Greeting
Reminiscing over Christmas Past
Recalling days of yore.
When we spent time with those we loved
Christmas seemed so secure.
The caroling parties in the cold,
The snow crunching from door to door,
The candles flickering in the breeze,
Singing till our throats were sore.
The hot chocolate or the warmed cider,
And the cookies; gaily decorated,
Warming by the fireplace, again we sang
Until our repertoire was completely sated.
A party to celebrate Jesus' Birth,
Bake the cake, and the songs we'd sing.
The scriptures read from Luke, Chapter two,
O, these memories mean "Everything".
Church at midnight, Christmas Eve,
To welcome Our Lord and Our King,
With candle light, and gifts of Love
To the Christ-Child, we would bring.
These traditions passed from each generation
Live on within my heart,
May Your Christmas be filled with beautiful traditions
Build memories from the very start.
God Bless and remember…………
U R Loved.
