To My Friends And Family
The poems that I write
May sound like I'm in pain
Yes, I once was
But that was back in the day
Sometimes I feel it again
The pain that was once there
When I was all alone
And felt like no one cared
But now I don't feel that way
That pain is now gone
Thanks to my friends and family
Who have helped me move on
To my little sister
Who to me, acts a lot older
Thank you for being there
Letting me cry upon your shoulder
To my parents whom I love
Who may not have always been there
I know that no matter what
You will always care
To my younger siblings
Who may be too young to know
Sharing my life with you
Has really helped me grow
To my older brother
I know we didn't get along
You have helped me in such a way
You have truly kept me strong
To my one true best friend
No words can truly say
You have ALWAYS been there
You have helped me live each day
Without you I'd be gone
You've helped me through every obstacle I've come across
Without you in my life
I'd be truly lost
I elaborate on you
Because no one can compare
You mean so much to me
You have ALWAYS been there
When my life was going down hill
When I was falling apart
You were always there
To fix the broken pieces of my heart
To my one true love
Who I have have not yet found
I know you're out there somewhere
But yet to come around
Now when I am hurting
When I feel that need to cut
When my heart feels so empty
And I feel like times are rough
I know who I can count on
People that truly care for me
I now know I have someone
