Dichotomy Of LoveBewilderment and confusion pervade my thoughts. My heart is like shards of glass upon the pavement. Anger and hurt reside where once intense joy and love Gleefully thrived. Someone please speak to my heart and mind. Help me to comprehend Why a love so sweet and pure Resides beneath an irreconcilable shroud. Why such simple skills to one Are ungraspable to another. Why my words are like puffs of smoke Dispersed like ethers in the clouds. What seems so simple Has become an insurmountable onus Upon my shoulders. I weep old tears from past issues unresolved. I weep new tears knowing that little progress has been realized. I find solace deep within As I retreat to that intimate place, Reserved only for me, Where safety and protection from this indelible pain exists.
