They are our best teachers of life
A conception created through love
Is God's precious gift
Physical presence or image of mind
They are with you forever and a day
As those heartfelt visions never go away
Life is eternal, its everlasting
A mere second spent with
Makes up for a lifetime without
Never lost or out of heart's sight like kind
Always with us, giving us peace of mind
Some innocence becomes youth and grows old
Enduring with maturity
Even manage to put us to rest
Others you never get to meet
Never hold them, nor listen to their heartbeat
Within the innocence of eyes
Of those you lose before their time
Consider the soul and you will be reunited again
Its our choice to live a life full of love, or one that's hollow
With guiding wings, and innocent eyes, they show us the path to follow.
