Footsteps newly etched upon the sand,
Lovers stroll; hand held lovingly in hand,
Whilst gentle waves issue a restful noise,
The young girl stops and on tiptoes poised,
Stopping close to the waters edge,
Offers her self in a silent pledge,
Dwelling awhile in a fond embrace,
The rising moon dictates the pace,
Her first kiss so warmly given there,
Standing on the beach without a care
The stars are out, the moon shining bright,
Our lovers drift off, into the perfect night
