FOOL THAT IS ME
In love I feel with you,
This fool that I could be,
My heart was beating strongly,
Yet I you could not see.
My mind it started dreaming,
Visions of a love,
Made for me in heaven,
Sent from up above.
Thoughts of now tomorrow,
Lingered in my dreams,
But nothing was in truth,
It was not what it seemed.
Perhaps I should of told you,
The way this heart it felt,
But then my dream was broken,
As reality was dealt.
You told me of a lover,
The someone there for you,
Suddenly my heart broke,
The rain came purring through.
Now ones again left shattered,
The dream that could not be,
Left here feeling foolish,
With thoughts of love for thee.
