In Your Love
You know I love you
but it's complicated
we are not cut out for a normal friendship
something else entirely
and if I knew it to be certain
a life with you I am wondering would I choose it?
it's no secret you leave me confused
I remember just like you do
you were the first person to show me warmth
made me feel as though I counted
and after all these years...these ups and downs
must be something that is keeping us
still haven't figured you out
but I guess that is the intrigue
come on even though your heart is breaking
please....don't leave
I don't know what I would do without you
I don't want to ever find out
so even though it's wrong
can I hold you tonight
can I wake up with you at daylight?
and as we go back to our everyday lives
please in your love hold me tight....
