Finding The Joy WithinAs I clumsily meander through daily life, I realize that my joy Is forever being compromised by outside influences, Frequently causing imbalance And hurt feelings. Wouldn't it be lovely To be impervious to pain and suffering? To remember that our joy lies within our hearts, A sacred place of love and understanding That denies entry to fear, jealousy, anger or greed. A place that accepts the imperfect world Without responding personally to its negativity. I practice going within And saturating my spirit with this Undeniable peace, Strengthening my resolve to make Finding my joy within One of my truest life's lessons.
